Lyla Hersh is a New York City based production designer, set decorator, and writer/director with a passion for storytelling through world building. She is 2025 graduate of Tufts University with a degree in Film and Media Studies and minor in Art History.
Lyla’s most recent project is On The Nature of Dreams, a self-directed thesis film. As a production designer, her work on Wilbur, The King (dir. Abby Sommers) was recognized with the Best Narrative Film award at the 2025 Lowell Film Festival.
Lyla is always excited to collaborate on thoughtful, visually driven projects. She welcomes inquiries related to production design, directing, writing, or any opportunity to help bring a compelling story to life.
